Attic insulation FAQ
How do I know if my attic needs new insulation?
Common signs are upstairs rooms that stay hot, an AC that runs constantly, rising energy bills, insulation you can see the joists through, and insulation that is flattened, wet or full of droppings. A free inspection tells you for sure, with photos.
Do you remove the old insulation first?
When the old insulation is contaminated, compressed or damaged, we remove it, clean and sanitize the attic, and seal air leaks before installing new insulation. If it is in good condition, we will tell you whether adding to it is enough.
Is the attic inspection really free?
Yes. We inspect the attic, show you what we find and give you a written quote. There is no obligation to book.
